Perched dramatically on a rocky hilltop, nearly 430 metres above the Mediterranean, Èze is one of the most enchanting medieval villages on the French Riviera. Its history stretches back centuries, with its strategic position overlooking the coastline making it an important fortified settlement during the Middle Ages.

Today, the village is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, ancient stone archways, hidden courtyards and flower-covered houses. Around every corner, small art galleries, charming boutiques and unexpected glimpses of the Mediterranean reveal another side of this beautifully preserved hilltop village.

Our walking route takes you through the heart of Èze, following its winding medieval lanes past historic buildings, picturesque stairways and peaceful little squares. Along the way, discover some of the village's most photogenic corners before finishing with panoramic views of Èze and the spectacular coastline stretching towards Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
